ABOVE & BEYOND is a one-year generosity journey we will take together as a church family—an opportunity to respond to all that God is doing at Traverse and prepare for all that He has ahead.
God has been moving in remarkable ways at Traverse. He has brought us into a building, grown our church far beyond what we could have imagined, and given us opportunities to reach people FOR Jesus, grow our faith IN Jesus, and bless our community WITH Jesus.
And we believe He isn't finished.
ABOVE & BEYOND is our opportunity to step into the next chapter together.
Through this initiative, we will continue to faithfully resource the ministry happening today while preparing for the opportunities God will place before us tomorrow. We want to be ready when He opens new doors—to reach more people, care for more families, serve our community, and make disciples.
But stepping into God's future will require all of us.
As many of us have come to recognize Traverse as our church home, this is an opportunity to come together, seek the Lord, listen for His direction, and consider what it means for each of us to go ABOVE & BEYOND in generosity.
This isn't about equal gifts. It's about equal participation.
We each have different circumstances and resources, but every person who calls Traverse home can participate—to pray, listen, sacrifice, and give as God leads.

We want every person who calls Traverse home to be part of ABOVE & BEYOND.
This is an opportunity for our church family to unite around the vision God has given us and take a meaningful step of faith together. Whether your commitment is large or small, what matters is that we each seek God, listen to His direction, and respond in obedience.

We are trusting God to move through His people to provide $3.7 million over the next 12 months.
These resources will allow us to:
PROVIDE for the ministry God has entrusted to us today
PAY OFF our $1.7 million land loan and prepare for tomorrow.
Our first responsibility is to faithfully provide for the ministry happening at Traverse right now.
We need $1,928,179 for our 2027 ministry budget, a 4% increase over our 2026 budget.
Your regular generosity makes ministry possible every week, allowing Traverse to continue reaching more people FOR Jesus, growing our faith IN Jesus, and blessing our community WITH Jesus.
And what God has done here is remarkable:
Average attendance at the end of 2024: 250
Average attendance in 2026: 888
More than tripled in size in less than 17 months
140 baptisms since moving into our building
This growth isn't something we could have manufactured.
This is the Lord's work.
Ephesians 3:20 reminds us:
“Now to Him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think—according to the power that works in you.”
God has already done above and beyond what we could have imagined.
Now we have the opportunity to faithfully resource what He is doing and prepare for what He will do next.
Our second step is to eliminate our $1.7 million land loan.
Paying off this debt would create approximately $15,000 per month in additional ministry capacity—resources that could be invested in people and ministry rather than debt.
One of the greatest opportunities this creates is the ability to add two additional full-time staff members.
As Traverse continues to grow, so does our need to care well for the people God is bringing through our doors and serve the Windsor community.
Today, Traverse has three full-time pastors, one part-time children's director, and one part-time administrator. We believe paying off our land loan is an important step toward building the staff capacity needed for the future.
Less debt means greater ministry capacity.
Instead of sending $15,000 each month toward our land loan, we can invest those resources into people—to care for our church family, reach our community, and prepare Traverse for what God has ahead.
We believe the best way to steward what God has entrusted to us is to strengthen the foundation today so we can step confidently into tomorrow.
Ask God to work in your heart and show you what ABOVE & BEYOND looks like for you.
Pray that we will listen—not simply to hear, but with hearts ready to obey.
Consider what God is asking you to give over the next year. Your commitment should be responsible, prayerful, and meaningful—a step that stretches your faith and invites you to trust God in a new way.
It's not about what someone else can give. It's about asking, “God, what are You asking of me?”
Each of us will have the opportunity to submit an ABOVE & BEYOND Commitment Card indicating what we believe God is leading us to give over the next 12 months.

As we journey together, we'll worship, share stories, celebrate victories, and watch God work through the generosity of our church family.

THE OPPORTUNITY BEFORE US
Just a short time ago, Traverse was a church of 25 people.
Today, nearly 900 people worship together every week, and 140 people have taken the step of baptism since we moved into our building.
God has opened doors we never could have opened ourselves.
And now we have an opportunity to respond.
ABOVE & BEYOND isn't simply about raising money. It's about coming together as a church family and investing in the mission God has placed before us.
It's about recognizing Traverse as our church home and asking what it looks like to personally invest in its future.
It's about trusting God with our resources, choosing generosity over comfort, and preparing for the people who haven't walked through our doors yet.
What God has ahead is worth going ABOVE & BEYOND for.
