THE VISION

ABOVE & BEYOND is a one-year generosity journey we will take together as a church family—an opportunity to respond to all that God is doing at Traverse and prepare for all that He has ahead.

God has moved in remarkable ways. He has brought us into a building, grown our church far beyond what we imagined. He continues to and open opportunities for us to reach people FOR Jesus, grow our faith IN Jesus, and bless our community WITH Jesus.

And we believe He isn't finished.

As Traverse has become home for so many of us, ABOVE & BEYOND is an opportunity to step into the next chapter together—faithfully resourcing today's ministry while preparing for tomorrow's opportunities.

This isn't about equal gifts. It's about equal participation.

We each have different circumstances and resources, but every person who calls Traverse home can pray, listen, and respond to God's leading through generosity.

Together, let's go ABOVE & BEYOND and see what God can do through us.

LOOK WHAT GOD HAS DONE

What God has already done in the life of Traverse is remarkable:

• At the end of 2024, we averaged 250 people in worship.
• Today, nearly 900 people worship together every week.
• We’ve more than tripled in less than 17 months.
• We’ve had 140 baptisms since moving into our building.

This isn't something we could have done. This is the Lord's work.

What God has done is already above and beyond what we could have imagined.  We have this opportunity to be a part of what He is doing and prepare for what He will do next.

TWO GOALS

100% PARTICIPATION & OUR 2027 BUDGET OF $1.9 MILLION

We want every person who calls Traverse home to be part of this next step. This is an opportunity for our church family to unite around the vision God has given us and take a meaningful step of faith together. If you're not yet giving, consider beginning; if you are giving, prayerfully consider increasing your generosity. Whether large or small, every gift is an act of obedience. 

Reaching our $1.9 million annual operating budget provides for the ministry God has entrusted to us today, making it possible to continue reaching and serving our growing church and community.

PAY OFF OUR LAND LOAN OF $1.7 MILLION 

Eliminating our land debt creates the opportunity to grow and serve better, freeing approximately $15,000 each month to invest in people and ministry rather than debt.

Until now, we’ve operated with a lean staff of five: three full-time pastors, and two part-time staff: a Children’s Director and a Communications Director.

Paying off our land loan would allow us to redirect those funds toward ministry, creating the opportunity to add two full-time staff members, strengthening our capacity to serve and care well.

Strengthen our foundation. Prepare for what God has ahead. 

Together these two goals form a $3.7 million opportunity over the next 12 months. 

We're trusting God to move through His people to provide what is needed.

Consider what God is asking you to give over the next year. This should be responsible, prayerful, and meaningful—a step that stretches yourfaith and invites you to trust God in a new way.

Submit your ABOVE & BEYOND Commitment Card with the amount you believe God is leading you to give over the next 12 months. Every gift matters. Every person matters. Every act of obedience matters.

God has opened doors we never could have opened ourselves.
